Rui Taborda
Rui Taborda's first contacts with the authorities and with Portuguese legislation took place at the beginning of his career when he was responsible for the construction of dams and refineries.
This knowledge was deepened during his time in the government as an advisor, where he played an important role in the organic restructuring of the Ministry of Education and in the elaboration of the legislation that embodied this profound change in the state organization.
At the time, it played a key role in the creation of the “educational charter”, a fundamental document to support decision-making regarding the educational offer, at the local level, which, by law, each of the municipalities is obliged to have.
Following the creation of this document, he collaborated with several municipalities, having been Advisor to the Mayor of Lamego.
This experience allowed him to become familiar with legislation as well as decision-making mechanisms in state institutions, both at central and local levels.
